Separate structure from material specification

A box style describes its construction. Board thickness, flute and strength requirements are separate decisions that should be recorded in the project specification.

Review the complete shipping pack

Evaluate the box together with its internal support, closure and packed contents. Confirm the proposed board specification and the appropriate sampling or validation for the handling conditions.

Details to include in your inquiry

  • Style reference
  • Usable internal size
  • Board requirements
  • Product load

Include the requested quantity, artwork status and delivery destination. Confirm available materials, sample requirements, pricing and timing in the written quotation.

Questions about this packaging

Can the same box style use different corrugated board?

Yes. The construction style does not by itself identify the board specification. Confirm the proposed material and evaluate it against product weight, stacking and shipping requirements.
